Mitchell Gaudet Studio Inferno Art Glass Vase Signed 1997 Memphis Hand Blown. Signed and dated on the bottom. Artist/Studio: Mitchell Gaudet, Studio Inferno (1997). An exceptional 1997 postmodern studio art glass vase by Mitchell Gaudet (Studio Inferno, New Orleans). This hand-blown piece features a striking orange-red conical body, a lime green rim, whimsical clear scroll handles with blue/clear tabs, and embedded millefiori murrine details near the base. Signed and dated on the bottom. Artist/Studio: Mitchell Gaudet, Studio Inferno (1997) Dimensions: 10" H x 6" Base D (7.25" W handle-to-handle) Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or post-production damage. Features an interesting studio-craft characteristic near one handle from the making process: it appears the glassblower quickly adjusted and straightened the handle while the glass was molten, leaving a small surface trail and a shallow indentation where it initially touched. This is entirely original to production, not a flaw. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency.
