Despite a very good packaging job, the book had some damage to the spine. After reporting this to the seller (with photo documentation), I received a brand new undamaged example within a couple of days. Highly recommended seller. As far as the book itself is concerned, it has a couple of factually incorrect captions, but is otherwise just as you expect from this excellent photo book series.
Packaging was good for protection. The book was new, as described. These books are great for learning about specific topics of history. They make great gifts!
