No Power/Broken Sony PS5 Slim Disc Edition, No Disc Drive, Read Description. My loss your gain. Thank you for your interest in purchasing this No Power/Wont turn on PS5, Please read this description before thinking about purchasing to see if you can work on it yourself to see if you can maybe diagnose it and fix it yourself. My loss your gain. I was not the first person to work on this PS5, someone previously before me had opened it and attempted to try and fix it, I am now the second person who is more professional to try and make a learning experience out of it to try and fix it myself and I have ran into the same problem of not being experienced enough to be able to diagnose something like this. The console has been taking apart fully and put back together as it should be, it does have some missing screws that are not a huge concern but all of the screws that came with it are in the correct spots and the console is put back together the best of my ability.(It’s put back together properly). I tested the power supply(it’s good), I am not skilled enough to test for continuity or see how certain chips are bad, to say the least the Southbridge BGA chip has been replace properly considering it still does the same issue as before hand. I attempted to use WEE tools and the PS5 does not boot up far enough to be able to read codes using UART after multiple attempts. The console will either beep and the light turns blue momentarily and the fan spins up for a couple seconds, then it will shut off. Other times it will not light up blue at all but just be no light with consisting of the same issues. I have tried numerous diagnosis but the console motherboard repair is just outside of my ability and would take a long time for me to diagnose. I will like to mention it did not come with a disc drive there for I will not be selling it with a disc drive frankly because I just don’t have one for it.
