Sunshine Oceanator's debut full-length, Things I Never Said, sees NYC multi-instrumentalist Elise Okusami hyperbolically equating early adulthood malaise with apocalyptic destruction. The type of anxieties that form when thoughts bottle up and stress gets the best of you. Throughout the record, allusions to intrusive thoughts and depression-induced stasis are weaved in between references to falling skies, rolling fires, and the possibility of the world literally falling apart. However, while Okusami's emotional and physical solitude makes for a resilient foe, Things I Never Said is ultimately a record about finding comfort in the face of destruction, whether it be through appreciating the little things or forming a bond with someone you can mutually confide in about mental afflictions. There's no concrete resolution to the album, but rather a vital reminder that love and friendship, both with others and herself, will always reign victorious in our darkest moments.   1. One damaged jewel case and extended ship time from carrier mishandling. All other CDs in this order were new, no damage, and sealed. It was no fault of the seller for the described damage and shipping delay. This seller ships within the expected timeframe, packs well (likely why only one jewel case was damaged), and everything (outside of damage caused by the carrier) was as described. The pricing was reasonable as well. 100% recommend this seller. I will likely buy from them again.

  2. Interesting the way they packed it - surprised it arrived in good condition, but not did! So whatever. As described and at a great price. Would not again, even if shipping was VERY slow. Tracking provided day after sale but it didn’t actually get into the mail til 10 days later. I sent a message at 5 days without response - but they did let me know when they’d finally posted it. No biggie, but in would t buy from them if I needed a guaranteed delivery date.
