This catalog of art is for the Art Lover and Art Student alike. The color plates in this book are truly breath taking and each work of art is accompanied by a short explanation of the art and the artist. The catalog is divided into schools for each of the artists; Italian School, German and Swiss School, Dutch, Flemish, French and finally Spanish. The artist too numerous to name all here (see photo of Index) include Botticelli, Degas, Da Vinci, Matisse, Picasso, Signorelli and Vannucci to name a few. The Woodner collection traveled the world in the 80’s and the collection is now housed in the National Gallery in Washington DC. Mr. Woodner was truly unique individual with a great love for art and an accomplished artist himself. The book contains over 100 photos of “Old Master Drawings” and paintings.
