Presentable copy of a desirable early printing of Marquez's magnum opus a novel that redifined Latin American literature and unleashed the 20th Century wave of magic realism. Interestingly, despite bearing a price on the dj, statement of printing, and being printed and bound in trade quality materials, this volume is blind stamped on the rear board like a book club edition, I have seen reference to this being how Harper & Row marked remainders at the time of publication and believe that is most likely the case here.
