Habady featuring a violin, carafe, and sheet music framed in 14-1/2” x 12-1/2” gold gilded ornate frame with black velvet inlay with gold gilt sticking. The frame alone is beautiful!! 😍 NOTE THERE ARE 3 DIMPLES ON FRAME FACE SEE CLOSE UP PHOTOS !!! I used to work in a frame shop and repaired such damage. If I were to keep this piece, I would repair it myself, but I will leave it as is. To repair a professional picture framer will use - carefully use - steam to decompress the wood in the frame and once it’s been lifted, you can refinish with gold leaf paint, but you need to get the color right for the paint. There is a little speckling that will need to be done with a sponge after. L.
