Signed on the front lower right, "Susan Pear Meisel." The location of the scene is marked in pencil on the back of the canvas , "Washington Square," as well as on the frame, "Washington Square II." Susan Pear Meisel (b. 1947) is an established American artist known for her vibrant, colorful, and illustrative scenes, often depicting cityscapes, landmarks, and lively public spaces. Her work frequently incorporates a distinct combination of ink and paint, capturing a sense of energy and movement. Size is 21 1/4 inches high and 25 1/4 inches wide.
