Also marked in the lower left corner: C inside a circle 1939 L.L. Cook Co. X864. The Lloyd L. Cook & Co. was a publisher of postcards. Initially called Cook Montgomery Co., or Co-Mo company, he operated in various locations in the Midwest, including Minneapolis and Wisconsin. He relocated to Milwaukee in 1921, and established the L. L. Cook Co which produced huge numbers of cards of U. S. subjects including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida and a large number of real photo postcards from the 1920's to 1940's.
