Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy and holding stock fluid capacity, it is only 5 inches deep making this pan perfect for those who like their rides lowered to the ground and still running cool. Thanks to the 3/4 inch external cooling fins, the fluid will run much cooler than the stock pan. The PPE pans are tough, too! Thanks to its thick cast construction with external fins and the additional side ribbing, all PPE Transmission Pans are much stronger than the stock units. Each pan is equipped with 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch NPT threaded ports for easy installation of gauge sensors as well as one of PPE’s Neodymium magnet equipped 17mm hex head drain plugs. The Neodymium magnet is an insanely strong magnet that attracts and holds harmful ferrous metal particles. New zinc-plated Allen head mounting hardware is supplied. The PPE Standard Profile Aluminum Transmission Pan is perfect for a hot rod or marine applications. PPE High Capacity Oil Pan Upgrade from the stock stamped-steel oil pan to the PPE Heavy-Duty High-Capacity Cast Aluminum Oil Pan for complete oil drainage, improved durability, enhanced cooling, and superior engine protection. The PPE Pan’s flat bottom is engineered to ensure complete oil drainage. This design allows every bit of old oil sludge to be removed during each oil change, preventing contamination of the fresh motor oil and ensuring clean, efficient lubrication from the start. The PPE High-Capacity Cast Aluminum Oil Pan increases the engine oil capacity by 2.0 quarts compared to the stock pan. Higher oil capacity means higher thermal stamina and less chance of overheating (because it takes longer to heat up a larger volume of fluid). It also dilutes the contaminants in the system, prevents sludge formation, reduces wear, and extends oil life. An ultra-strong, precipitation hardened 17-4 stainless steel drain plug is included. It’s equipped with a powerful high-temperature rated neodymium magnet to pull ferrous debris out of the engine oil, providing additional protection to the engine internals and extending oil life. PPE Front Differential Cover Help keep your GM’s front differential running cool and clean with an upgraded differential cover from PPE. With the largest set of cast cooling fins in the industry, found both inside as well as outside the pan, PPE’s differential covers offer fluid cooling capabilities not often matched. This pan also holds an extra three-quarter quart of fluid, offering a bit of added stamina on those long hauls. To keep the fluid clean, PPE installed its exclusive high-powered Neodymium magnet-equipped fill plug will pull harmful ferrous metal particles right out of the oil before they have a chance to attack the bearings. PPE Rear Differential Cover Made from high-quality cast A356.0-T6 aluminum for strength and optimum heat dissipation. PPE’s differential covers (Rear Differential Cover RAM/GM) offer industry-leading fluid cooling. Equipped with internal heat sinks and external cooling fins, increasing the pan’s surface area helps dissipate heat. This makes for a much cooler and denser oil. The cool, dense fluid lubricates better, which will extend differential service life.
