Simply stated, more is always better when it comes to transmission fluid. Higher volumes of fluid take longer to heat up allowing for more stable transmission temperatures which help to extend transmission life. Cast gussets provide strength and overall robustness. Internal heat sinks wick heat and acts as baffles to reduce fluid sloshing. External fins add surface area and use free-flowing air to radiate heat. The PPE Heavy-Duty DEEP Aluminum Transmission Pan also features a high-power Neodymium magnet-equipped billet stainless steel drain plug to catch and hold harmful ferrous metal contaminants keeping them out of the transmission internals. PPE Heavy Duty Deep Oil Pan This new deep pan is cast from high-quality A356.0-T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy using permanent steel molds and holds an additional two quarts of oil. More fluid increases thermal stamina which helps promote longer service life. We’ve added machined grooves to the outer surface of the pan to increase the effective surface area and maximize thermal performance. The factory drain plug port is located above the bottom of the pan and about half a quart of dirty oil remains which immediately contaminates your fresh oil with sludge and ferrous metal. PPE solves that filthy problem with a flat, angled bottom, and a drain plug port engineered below the bottom surface of the pan to ensure a complete drain. A 1/8-inch NPT port is tapped and plugged into the side if you want to run an optional temperature sensor. We've also included a high-power Neodymium magnet equipped, billet, hardened stainless steel drain plug, This powerful plug pulls ferrous particles out of your oil before they damage your internals. PPE Heavy Duty Rear Differential Cover Specially engineered to minimize friction and maximize lubrication. Keep your GM rear differential running cool and clean with an upgraded cover from PPE. Made from high-quality cast A356.0-T6 aluminum for strength and optimum heat dissipation. The increased fluid capacity provides greater thermal stamina. This keeps your differential oil running cooler. The oil will keep its viscosity which helps extend differential service life. This new cover also has specially engineered internal rib structures that minimize friction, maximize lubrication, and increase rigidity. To help keep your differential oil cleaner, this cover comes with PPE Billet Stainless Steel Drain/Fill Plugs. Each plug features high-power Neodymium magnets which pull harmful ferrous particles out of your fluids before they have a chance to do damage. Simply wipe grit away at each service.
