It allows your transmission to handle the heat from off-roading better while prolonging its life. Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, it offers 1 quarts of additional fluid capacity, ensuring long-lasting heat management and performance. The deep external cooling fins maximize the heat-wicking surface area, effectively dissipating heat to keep your transmission cool under pressure. These fins also add strength to the bottom of the pan and enhance impact resistance. The built-in baffles at the bottom of the pan increase contact between the fluid and the pan’s cast surface, enhancing heat transfer. These baffles also reduce fluid sloshing, ensuring consistent fluid pickup and stable transmission performance. This kit also comes with a replaceable trans fluid filter, mounted to the CNC machined filter supports. The drain plug ‘s equipped with a powerful, high-temperature-rated neodymium magnet that captures ferrous metal particles, providing additional protection for your transmission. PPE Heavy Duty Oil Pan Whether your factory-stamped steel oil pan has become damaged, or rusted, or you want an easy bolt-on upgrade with better performance, the PPE Cast Aluminum (Jeep 3.6L) Engine Oil Pan is your best choice for increased strength and lower oil temps. Thick, cast A356.0T-6 aluminum is superior to stamped steel for cooling performance. PPE has engineered deep exterior fins that increase surface area and use underside airflow to lower oil temperatures. Gussets and a 3/8" flange provide strength and rigidity to the housing. The high-power Neodymium magnet equipped, hardened billet stainless steel drain plug attracts and holds damaging ferrous metals. The factory plug has no magnet and provides no protection. The location of the factory drain plug also results in at least 1/4 quart of viscous dirty oil remaining during an oil change. The PPE pan promotes complete oil drainage and you will have zero contamination from the old oil ever after. Upgrade performance looks, and quality with this easy install.
