Pair Vintage Candlesticks/Bainbridge Toya/Late 1980’s/Chinoiserie Inspired/China. Made by Bainbridge Toya. Style # B23801. These are decorated in the inspired style of Chinoiserie. Hand painted beautiful pink blossoms and buds on leafy green stems. The top and bottoms are dotted with a purple teardrop motif. Charming vintage candlestick holders made in the late 1980’s in China. Made by Bainbridge Toya. Style # B23801. They measure around 10.5” tall and at the base measures about 5” wide. Besides having an Ssian flair, they are very shabby chic. They are both stamped on the underside. These are decorated in the inspired style of Chinoiserie. Hand painted beautiful pink blossoms and buds on leafy green stems. The top and bottoms are dotted with a purple teardrop motif. These have been pre owned with lots of love and use. There is a tiny chip on the top edge of the ruffle on one of the sticks. Please see the two pictures where this chip is enlarged and circled in red. It looks like a previous owner covered the chip with a spot of paint. It can easily be turned to the back and does not affect the ability to burn a candle in them. There is also some white wax residue in both of the cups at the top which hold the candles. Both candlesticks have a dust build up in some of the indented curved areas. Please see the last pictures for a closer look. They do need a proper cleaning. I have taken the flaws in consideration when pricing this item. With the age of these candlesticks, the flaws are understandable. Please message me with any questions you have.
