This listing is for a beautiful pair of authentic Moser Karlsbad Bohemian amethyst glass bud vases, dating from around 1900. Each vase is hand-blown and features delicate hand-painted gilt floral decoration with enamel highlights, a hallmark of Moser’s artistry during the Art Nouveau period. Maker: Moser Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary) Material: Amethyst glass with gold & enamel floral decoration Size: approx. 10 & 1/4 inch tall Markings: Each vase bears a faint hand-applied workshop mark (“K” with numbers) on the base, consistent with Moser’s production practices of the period (see photo). Verification: This pair has been verified as authentic by the Moser Glass company, Karlovy Vary. A screenshot of their confirmation is included among the photos for buyer reference. Condition: Very good antique condition with only small flea bites to the rim of each vase (see close-up photos). No cracks or major damage. Decoration is well-preserved with some expected age-related wear. These vases display beautifully and are a fine example of Moser’s early 20th century craftsmanship.
