Paperbark Maple Bonsai Tree (acer griseum) 11 years old, 17" tall. Recommended outdoor deciduous bonsai tre. Suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended. May be shipped with no foliage during autumn and winter. Massive branches that thicken with age display exquisitely peeling and orange-copper bark. Spring and summer displays rich green leaves and in fall change to brilliant red. The slowing compact tree is a perfect companion with other dwarf conifers and other smaller scale bonsai. Native to China. Damaged leaves or small branch breakage can be a normal part of the shipping process and does not affect the health of the plant.
