Its glossy, lanceolate leaves measure 5-8 cm in length, displaying pronounced central veins and faintly visible pinnate lateral veins. The large, sub-globose fruits can reach up to 4 cm in diameter, with thin skin, several medium-sized seeds, and a distinct crown at the apex up to 1 cm wide. This prolific tree produces an abundance of very sweet pulp with an excellent flavor.
