This antique postcard, stamped and postmarked from 1916 captures the historic Hotel Chamberlin and the government dock at Old Point Comfort, Virginia. This grand red-brick structure was the second incarnation of the hotel before it was destroyed by fire in 1920. It was a key social hub for visitors to Fortress Monroe and the Virginia Peninsula.
