It is particularly famous for its Hobby Horse festivities on May Day, which resemble pagan fertility rites. The Hobby Horse is unique, and its origin dates back hundreds of years. South of Padstow are the splendid beys of Trevone, Harlyn and Treyarnon, noted for their beaches and splendid surf-bathing. Unposted. Good vintage condition. No visible damage to any of the edges. All corners slightly bent. Dirt spots, discoloration, creasing, scratches, missing paint and stains marks may be visible on single or both sides of the postcard. Good condition for its age.
