Turn the steering wheel to the straight ahead position. 3. Clean the mounting bracket of the steering gear and relevant mating surfaces of the steering gear. 4. For the adjustable steering column, use a suitable rope to pass through the space of the cross fork of the steering shaft, hang the steering shaft, and connect the steering shaft and the input shaft of the steering gear. 5. Turn the steering gear to the middle position to align the relevant marks at the input end and output end of the steering gear. 6. Install the steering gear on the mounting base and tighten the fixing bolts. 7. Universal joint or coupling between mounting column and steering gear. 8. For the adjustable steering column, the upper end seal of the steering gear shall not be damaged when the universal joint is installed. 9. Keep the steering wheel in straight ahead position. 10. Put the pitman arm on the steering gear to align the two marks. 10.
