President Roosevelt seated in a carriage in front of or near the bandstand. He writes "this was taken with 4/5 Poco. Rare, historic and antique. Mailed gelatin silver real photo postcard. Identified along the right front side. (see scan #4). "President Theodore Roosevelt at Lyons Fair at close of Spanish American War." President Roosevelt seated in a carriage in front of or near the bandstand. The photographer is James Wright, well known in Lyons, NY. His handwritten note about his equipment (the 4x5 Poco camera) adds to the uniqueness of this postcard. He writes "this was taken with 4/5 Poco. My first Machine. J.S. Wright, Lyons, NY. TR was in Lyons, NY during the Fair Sep. 13-15, 1910. The photographers message is confusing as to dates. Shipped USPS Ground with tracking. Excellent condition.
