Offering a vintage press photograph showing US Marines ordered to mobilize at the Marine Corps base at Quantico to await deployment to Cuba where a new revolution had overthrown the de Cespedes government. Photo shows a general view of the camp as soldiers arrive via troop train. A film camera is visible on the lower left. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1933. Great image! Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the age or history of this photo Measures approximately 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" excluding caption sheet Condition: This photo has a torn off lower right corner, a bend on the upper left corner and some additional corner and surface wear. Pencil notations and some light staining on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
