The console powers on, but games freeze during start-up, or just show a black screen. The games we used to test were Street Fighter II, which froze on the "Capcom" screen; The Lion King which froze with glitchy graphics during the start-up; and Ken Griffey Jr which was just a black screen. We do not do repairs, so this console is being sold as-is, for parts, repair, or repurpose, no returns. The items are in fair used condition, with some signs of wear/dust/dirt/discoloration on the console - see photos.
