Typeset in Monotype Baskerville with Caslon Display on Zerkall mould-made paper, printed by Hand and Eye Letterpress, London, and hand-bound by G. Lachenmaier, Reutlingen. Issued in an edition of 1980 numbered copies (plus 20 lettered copies not for sale); this example is number 1456. The volume is housed in a blue buckram clamshell box with gilt-lettered leather spine label, recessed to hold a companion volume: the Oxford University Press Sonnets & Poems edited by Colin Burrow (Clarendon edition, 2002), bound in matching blue buckram and gilt-lettered on the spine. A lovely edition combining the scholarly accuracy of the Clarendon text with the craftsmanship of traditional hand printing and fine binding.
