I imported these units directly from Japan. The unit you will receive will be picked at random from the stock, and exterior cosmetic condition / shell colorization may vary, however they function as intended, and the contact points have been cleaned and treated. These will not fit the regular Super Nintendo systems as is here in the US. However, there are back plates with reliefs to allow them to seat properly in US Super Nintendo systems. These can only be used with US Super Nintendo’s with cart adapters or modifications to shell, and can be used as is with Japanese Super Nintendo’s These will not work with PAL consoles… at all. For those with questions or concerns, PAL consoles are the EU version of the SNES. Which are arguably the worst console version of Super Nintendo / Super Famicom consoles.
