The spine is where you’ll see the most wear. This is a first edition / 1st printing paperback edition of the Sword of the Lictor (Volume three of the Book of the New Sun) by Gene Wolfe A TIMESCAPE book published in 1982 by Pocket Books Overall this copy is in okay/good shape - a good reader copy? There is wear along the edges and minor chipping/creasing on the corner edges of the front cover. No real big blemishes on the front cover except the discoloration and wear near the edges and spine. The spine is where you’ll see the most wear. This thing is read and the spine definitely shows it - creased and a few extra blemishes near the top and bottom spine. Much of the same can be said about the back cover - no major blemishes I can see, but minor wear toward the edges and a couple small creases - the biggest near the top left corner. Some tanning on the pages, but I see no visible stains or tears within. The page edges are clean and the spine is sturdy and the pages intact - pages look to be in great shape. Overall - good condition on this paperback.
