This past December we visited the Jablonex ornament exhibit at the MACH in Vienna. It is there that we learned so much more about these fabulous ornaments. Jablonex ornaments (historically and internationally known as "Gablonz" or "Gablonzer" ornaments) are delicate, handcrafted holiday decorations made from glass beads, bugles, and tinsel wires. Originating in the Jablonec nad Nisou region of the Czech Republic (historically Bohemia), these vintage treasures are widely collected for their intricate wirework and luminous glass. These Czech glass ornaments being listed today are in very good shape. I guarantee that.
