Description
This piece is remarkably well-preserved for being 40 years old. The stitching is tight, vibrant, and shows no missing threads or fraying. Note on Age: As is common with vintage textiles from the 1980s, there are a few very light, faint age spots/discoloration on the cream-colored Aida cloth (see detailed photos). These do not detract from the artwork and often lift with a professional cleaning, though many collectors prefer the "patina" of an original 1986 piece. Signature: Includes a personalized hand-stitched inscription in the bottom right corner: "To Jerry Love, Janie 1986," adding to its authentic vintage folk-art charm
