Gilt-lettered cloth. A very good copy. Blind embossed stamp of one James Farley and a nearby gift inscription in pencil dated 1870 from one E.G. or E.J. Dixon. With memorials for these New England Quakers: Benjamin Buffington, Ruth Buffington, Sarah Tucker, James Tucker, Seth Davis, Thomas B. Gould, John Wilbur, Lydia Wilbur, and Thomas Foster. This particular copy is interesting as throughout its textblock various leaves were text printed on a paper stock that has now yielded over the course of time a rather interesting pattern of striations.
