Vintage 15.25" Ron Jon CLAY ART SURFS UP Ceramic Cookie Jar "Woodie" Car 1998. NEWER - replica - models of this "WOODIE" cookie jar have been produced since 1998 but are shorter and the finish is not as good. But this one IS the real, original - McCoy! Length is 15.25". ONE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE PRE-OWNED "SURFS UP" by CLAY ART of San Francisco COOKIE JAR "WOODIE" HAND PAINTED This GREAT LOOKING COOKIE jar belonged to my sister. We inherited it. We found it when we were going through her large, kitchen pantry. This is the VINTAGE MODEL of CLAY ARTS' - "WOODIE" - COOKIE JAR - RELEASED in...1998 - See Photos. NEWER - replica - models of this "WOODIE" cookie jar have been produced since 1998 but are shorter and the finish is not as good. But this one IS the real, original - McCoy! Length is 15.25". Colors and details are much more vivid than the later reproductions. There is a difference! See Photos. It has been previous gently used. It has not been broken/repaired. The colors are still BRIGHT and vivid. It has some basically minor paint rubs and a couple small/minor chips primarily at the corners which you would expect (25+ years old) and can see in my photos. It has a very small spot on the hood. This surface spot on the hood looks to me to be a manufactures "defect" - but I'm no expert. The paint is perfectly chipped at this spot. My sister, or somebody, applied some green colored marker to this spot. If your good at matching paint - you could really improve the looks of this spot with a little bit of effort - or simply let it continue to add characte/uniqueness to this wonderful vintage piece. It is hardly noticeable - in my opinion - unless you are looking for it. My photos show it clearly for your review. There are a couple minor chips to two corners which are shown in my photos. It has NOT been detailed cleaned or polished. Please check-out closely, the many photos that I have posted above for your own, personal evaluation as these photos are an important part of my description. I never Photoshop any of my photography, remove blemishes, etc. I will try adjusting the lighting, when necessary to produce the best results, but what you see is what your getting, and I take pride in that.
