Vintage 1950s American Bisque Polka Dot Sitting Bear Cookie Jar **READ**. Condition is Pre-owned. There are a number of small defects that I've tried to photograph. (I looked at it with my loupe and was able to see glaze in the majority of the crack.). The crack does not go thru to the back on the majority of the crack. 1950s American Bisque Polka Dot Sitting Bear Cookie Jar Vintage **READ**. Condition is Pre-owned. This item came from the Estate of a Collector. There are a number of small defects that I've tried to photograph. The crack on the front (see photo) has some glaze in it - which makes me think it happened before glazing. (I looked at it with my loupe and was able to see glaze in the majority of the crack.) The crack does not go thru to the back on the majority of the crack. It is about 2" on the outside front and 3/4" on the inside. I also noticed a dark area on the bottom - set on something warm perhaps? I don't know on that. I saw a little crazing on the base of the lid (see photo) ans also on the base of the jar (see photo). I dont know if it was ever used or just part of a collection (they had a lot of cookie jars displayed). Please see all photos for item details and condition. Shipping USPS.
