Design Motif : The applied white bas-relief decoration is part of the "Sacrifice" series. On back side, embossed Stamped 1956 for manufacture year. Condition as shown in photo images. The background is the brand's iconic "Wedgwood Blue" (historically cataloged as pale blue or lavender), paired with stark white relief details. Design Motif : The applied white bas-relief decoration is part of the "Sacrifice" series . It depicts continuous neoclassical Greek and Roman figures arranged around a central circle, interspersed with stylized classical trees. On back side, embossed Stamped 1956 for manufacture year. In addition back side reveal an incised or impressed stamp reading "WEDGWOOD" . Modern vintage editions from the mid-to-late 20th century will explicitly say "MADE IN ENGLAND" along with numerical codes indicating the production year. Very clean (Like New).
