Presented here is a rare and highly collectible children’s pop-up book by Vojtěch Kubašta , published by Artia in Prague in 1961. The book features illustrated card covers with a green cloth spine and measures 9" x 12.75" (22.5 × 33 cm). When opened, it reveals a richly detailed jungle panorama showcasing 24 animals. The figures are arranged in layered rows, creating a striking three-dimensional scene. There are no visible cracks or tears, and the book remains in good to very good condition. At the center, a small pool with swimming ducks adds charm and depth to the composition. Importantly, the often-missing movable figures — the main characters Moko and Koko, along with the young orangutan — are all present. The small orangutan is considered the rarest of these elements, making this example particularly desirable for collectors. The separate 7-page short story is not included.
