Vintage Betty Lou Nichols "CANDY" Lady Headvase - 5 1/4" Tall - Stripes - Nice!!. She stands 5 1/4" tall and almost 6" across at the hat. She is stamped Candy by Betty Lou Nichols on the bottom. There is one area on the hat rim that has a spot where the glaze and color flaked off. This is a beautiful vintage Betty Lou Nichols lady headvase. There is one area on the hat rim that has a spot where the glaze and color flaked off. I do not think it is a pottery chip. Just the glaze and color flaked off like I have seen on many of these BLN items. last photo shows it and you can see someone touched it up with flat black instead of a glossy black. If it was touched with shiny black it would be very hard to see. It is hard to notice as is if you are not aware of it. Simple simple fix. Never used so spotless on the inside. She does have the crazing that is so common on the BLN items. Very bold stripes and great outfit and hat. She displays beautifully. Head vases can have random pottery manufacturing flaws, paint flaws, overspray and other small pottery imperfections. This head vase is super nice in these areas. Beautiful vase that would be a great addition to any collection. Vase is a little heavy so the shipping will reflect the weight. Thanks for looking.
