This sculptural ceramic piece features a stylized female torso with arms on hips, finished in a deep red glaze with black accent striping and spotted decoration. Cody pottery was produced in California during the mid-century period and is known for its decorative art pottery and figural forms. The vase opening is located at the top between the shoulders, allowing the piece to function as a small vase or sculptural decorative object.
