Description
This vintage syrup dispenser ? or absinthe? is a unique addition to any collection. I am not sure exactly what type of dispenser I AM NOT an Expert. Please do your own research and come up with your own conclusion before you decide to purchase. The pineapple shape pink depression glass and black glass base make it a charming piece that is sure to catch the eye. The dispenser is an original and the spout dated September 4th 1917 and C & H NY ( New York). The Bottom Back of Base reads South Seas Patent 78123. The country/region of manufacture is unknown, adding to the mystery and intrigue of this vintage item. Please see photos as part of description. The metal lid appears to be original to the piece the knob and screw are rusted. The top rim does have a hairline but not rough chipped or cracked its very smooth i think its a manufacture defect. There is a yellow line of residue towards the top a small amount just looks discolored i tried cleaning with no luck. Please feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. Update an ebayer just message me saying it might have had a rubber lid .... I feel the is original lid because it's not a tight screw on lid with threads and the glass has no threads. The lid on inside have metal nubs that seem to be original. But again I cant find another one that shows correct lid.
