Vintage Thomas Bavaria Sevres Plate 7.5" Hand Painted Roses Signed AS IS Chip. Design: Roses on sage background with gold rim. This item is artist signed. You can clearly see the signature "Penny" on the front (front, left-side of the main rose grouping). Pre-owned. Fair antique condition. Please note: There is one visible flake/chip on the gold rim at approximately the 11 o'clock position (see photos for detail). Hand painting remains vibrant and beautiful. Offered is a stunning, early 20th-century German porcelain decorative plate by Thomas Bavaria, perfect for a collection. This 7.5-inch cabinet plate features beautiful, hand-painted "Mentone" style roses against a soft, blended sage green background. This item is artist signed. You can clearly see the signature "Penny" on the front (front, left-side of the main rose grouping). While the hand-painted art is vibrant and the majority of the plate is sound, there is a noticeable chip/flake on the gold-gilded rim at approximately the 11 o'clock position. This damage is shown in the detailed close-up photos. Aside from this rim flaw, there are no other chips, cracks, or crazing. The price has been adjusted significantly to reflect this condition.
