Vintage Western Stoneware Monmouth, IL. Miniature Blue Pottery Jug. This was used only for display. With the stamp on the bottom, I believe it indicates the "Denova Era".. It is in excellent condition. The colors are blue and cream. The Western Stoneware company was formed in 1906 when 7 companies merged. They originally had 7 plants. Over the years, 3 plants were destroyed by fire and 1 by tornado. 2 plants were sold so only 1 remains today. This was used only for display.
