Vintage/10 CURRIER & IVES/Royal China 10" Dinner Plates/ "The Old Grist Mill"/. These Plates are inspired from original prints by Currier and Ives. These plates are titled “The Old Grist Mill”. Pattern-Currier & Ives Blue. All 12 plates are pictured individually. Here and there are a few ‘dots’ in the glaze. Lot of 12 vintage 10” round dinner plates in very good condition! Pattern-Currier & Ives Blue These Plates are inspired from original prints by Currier and Ives. These plates are titled “The Old Grist Mill” All 12 plates are pictured individually. Manufacturing technique is underglaze print. They are oven and dishwasher safe. Made from ceramic ironstone. Made in the USA by Royal China Co., which started in business in 1934, and went out of business 52 years later in 1986. Growing up in the 1960’s, these were the dishes we ate from every holiday. They have sat unused for the last 20+ years. Still in very good condition for dishes about 60 years old. 4 of the dishes have very small chips on the under side edge. A few of the dishes have crazing. Some of the identity stamps on the bottom of the plates are off center or upside down. Here and there are a few ‘dots’ in the glaze. The last picture shows a black dot on the underside of a plate. Please see last 6 pictures for all issues.
