Vntg Battle of Bennington Monument Vermont American Revolution Wedgwood Plate. This is a Wedgwood Battle of Bennington Monument commemorative plate in blue and white transferware. The plate commemorates the Battle of Bennington, a pivotal victory during the American Revolutionary War in 1777. It features the 306-foot stone obelisk monument located in Bennington, Vermont. The design also includes portraits of military leaders and images of historic buildings like the Catamount Tavern. This plate was made in England by Wedgwood for American importer A.J. Pendergast, Bennington, Vermont The plate is in very good condition, with minor wear in the back (see pictures). The wood plate stand holder is not part of sale. It is there only for the pictures.
