Vtg 60's Barbie On the Avenue #1644 Outfit Gold White Dress Coat Shoes COMPLETE. Model: On the Avenue #1644. Very clean with no holes. Also has the CREAM shoes (not bright white). The gold belt is curled and a bit crinkly. The necklace is missing the hook part of the clasp and could possbly use restringing (pictured). Vintage 1960s Barbie On the Avenue fashion set #1644 features a sophisticated gold and white ensemble. This classic outfit includes a sleeveless sheath dress with a metallic gold knit bodice and a textured white and gold flecked skirt. The matching swing-style coat is crafted from the same elegant textured fabric and features a wide collar and 3/4 length sleeves. Completing the look are a gold metallic clutch with a pearl-like closure and cream/bone closed-toe heel shoes. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Very clean with no holes. Also has the CREAM shoes (not bright white). The gold belt is curled and a bit crinkly. There is also a small, light mark under where the belt makes contact on one side (common for this outfit). One glove could use a little cleaning as well (pictured) The necklace came from the same Barbie box and matches the "cream" tone of the outfit perfectly. However, when researching this outfit some of the necklaces were the typical white pearls, but I did find a few pictures with this off white necklace. The necklace is missing the hook part of the clasp and could possbly use restringing (pictured).
