Overall, the tool is in very good 'as found' condition, with no breaks or repairs. The wrench still adjusts as designed. Manufactured by the Frank Mossberg Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts, the wrench is a model Junior No. 1, and is from the early 1900s. The nickel plated wrench was one of several different styles of bicycle wrenches manufactured by the company. There is a ruler, as the wrench is opened, measuring in inches and millimeters, but provides only markers, with no numbers. The 3" size made it very convenient for the owner to carry in pocket. Supposedly, they were also used on motorcycles in early days. Overall, the tool is in very good 'as found' condition, with no breaks or repairs. It does show signs of use and handling, with some finish loss and some oxidation to the metal. The wrench still adjusts as designed.
