Description

Vtg J.P. Danielson Bet'r-Grip 6" adjustable wrench, 1940s, vg condition. This is one of the nicest Danielson Vanadium adjustable wrenches I've had. It has the "typewriter" font forgings on the handle and the "Bet'r-Grip" mark, indicating production in the early 1940s. Aside from that, the wrench is very clean. This is one of the nicest Danielson Vanadium adjustable wrenches I've had.It has the "typewriter" font forgings on the handle and the "Bet'r-Grip" mark, indicating production in the early 1940s. (Thanks, Alloy Artifacts, for this info.) There is a faint owner's engraving (see pic #8), but it's not very noticeable. Aside from that, the wrench is very clean. There are signs of light wear on the jaws, but no actual damage or abuse. The hang hole has a broached 1/2" double hex opening. The adjusting mechanism works very smoothly, and the moveable jaw has very little excess play.
