Description
WEIRDBOOK 36 (2017). Sixth issue of the new series, edited by DOUGLAS DRAA. This is a revival of the great (and World Fantasy Award winning) magazine founded by W. PAUL GANLEY, which was a mainstay for the horror/fantasy field for 30 years, 1968-97. Lots of the writers are pulling out all the stops to see this revival take off. Stories by some old WB regulars, and newcomers. I admit I don't recognize most of the names, except from recent issues of WEIRDBOOK. I am sure than in a few years we will look back on this and see early work by people who have become famous. D.C. Lazar, L.F. Falconer, Franklyn Searight, etc. My own contribution (on the back cover) is a new Hymn to the Great Old Ones, which will be sung, croaked, or gibbered at the prayer breakfast at this year's Necronomicon. Published quarterly. Larger than the first three issues. The price has been increased by the publisher. Always happy to combine postage on multiple wins.
