The Ego Power + Multi-head system kit with 20 inch hedge trimmer was a factory refurbished unit. It arrived in a slightly damaged box but the unit itself was undamaged and in excellent, like new condition. It was missing one of the proprietary screws used to secure the handle to the shaft. I contacted the seller and informed them of the issue. I received a timely response from Britta who ended up contacting Ego and having them send me a replacement screw. The customer service was outstanding.
Great item, just as described, shipping was *unbelievably* fast (arrived day after order placed). The packaging could have been a lot better, the styrofoam had all broken apart and the parts were banging around quite a bit, the tool rest extension got a bit scratched up. Not the end of the world, but below expectations on that front. Still, I'd buy again, ACME has the best price for this item I could find (most places charge $99+ for shipping) without waiting for a sale somewhere.
