The 19-minute title track consumes all of Side One, moving through four distinct movements from delicate acoustic passages to full orchestral intensity. Side Two opens with "And You and I," a sweeping ballad built around Howe's acoustic guitar and Wakeman's Mellotron, before closing with "Siberian Khatru" — the most direct and driving track on the record, anchored by Squire's thundering Rickenbacker bass.
