Pagination and format correspond closely to the small Tornaesius / de Tournes editions of Aelian’s Variae Historiae libri XIIII, especially the early 17th-century issues around 1609-1610. The rear includes a Jean de Tournes / Tornaesius printer’s device with the motto “Son art en Dieu,” supporting attribution to that printing family. Small early pocket edition of Claudius Aelianus’ Varia Historia / Poikile Historia, printed in Greek and Latin. The book is identified from the internal headings, including “De Stylo Aeliani” and “Aeliani Variae Historiae Liber I,” with the Greek title opening Book I. The title page is lacking, so the exact imprint and year cannot be guaranteed.
