c1919 RPPC - Committee of Welcome Ship - Manhattan NY - Returning WWI Troops. It is in good condition considering its age. You’re bidding on a Vintage RPPC showing a Port Side View of a Committee of Welcome steam ship that greeted WW1 troops returning from Europe to New York in 1919. If you look closely, you can see the “Committee of Welcome” banner and part of the ship’s name (..ECTION). This divided back card has an AZO Stamp Box and has not been postally used.
