American Frontier Through Hostile Country Belt Buckle Berninghaus Vtg ADM ...a very cool old American Frontier Commemorative "Through Hostile Country" belt buckle. This is a Limited Edition solid brass buckle made by Award Design Medals in the 1980s. Detailed artwork by Oscar Berninghaus, shows "Through Hostile Country" a stagecoach with a cavalry escort bolting across dangerous Indian lands in the Wyoming Territory. It is in new old stock condition, as shown in the photos it is still sealed in the original packaging. It measures approximately 3-5/8" x 2-3/4", fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and weighs about 4.3 oz.
