Antique 19th century South Central Caucasian Kazak Rug measures approx. 37" x 49" with Lesghi Star Design. This multi colored hand knotted rug was well loved. The sides have binding (not sure when that was done). There are numerous repairs, soiled and worn areas. An area looks like it was reattached as well. Despite all that, this Azerbaijan rug is gorgeous. The colors are still rich, despite in the worn areas. The design is particularly complex with many motifs scattered about.
