BILL EDDY Cartoons 2 Books SIGNED INSCRIBED "A little nonsense now and then..."+. The humorous subject matter mostly revolves around Engineering - this was kind of a precursor toDilbert The first book is"A little nonsense now and then.", © 1956. Both books are identically signed and inscribed by the author (see pics), which I make out as. You are bidding on a set of two (2) SIGNED AND INSCRIBED books by the late cartoonist Bill Eddy. The humorous subject matter mostly revolves around Engineering - this was kind of a precursor to Dilbert: · The first book is "A little nonsense now and then..." , © 1956. This volume has a very slight bow, almost imperceptible, which could probably be cured with proper storage. The cover has some light wear and odd discoloration/deterioration near the spine, as though burned by something (see pics). However, this does not affect the contents, which are full-color single-panel cartoons on glossy pages. · "Back to the drawing board again..." , © 1962, has the same format and was obviously meant to be paired with the earlier book. This volume is cleaner, but still has some minor page-edge discoloration, which again does not affect the contents. Both books are identically signed and inscribed by the author (see pics), which I make out as: Lou Barkow With my very best Bill Eddy Neither book has a dustjacket, but I don't think they ever did. Each book measures about 13" by 9½", and is about ½" thick.
